How long is the stay?

Who are you

and why are you doing this?

An idea of creating an art residency in Kurba was born by the coordinator of social-culture projects from Yaroslavl Maria Nikitina. She always felt attached to Kurba village as much as possible - here family lived there from 1900.  Maria always had a dream to share the inexpressible atmosphere of Kurba with the worlds' community to pay attention to Kurba beauty and problems.

Her idea to gather talented people in Kurba for 2 summer weeks was supported by Ksenia Korachun, an emerging theater director, creator of art projects in Yaroslavl and that is when the story started to reveal.

We invite particular people those art whose work has impressed us for years and whom we think will be able to properly reflect the spirit of this place in there work. With whom we are friends and whom we want to make friend with.

It's 4 people from USA, UK, Germany, France aged from 20 till 30.
